Price: $600

WILLING TO TRADE FOR D SERIES AUTOMATIC SWAP + CASH, LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE

Description:

Up for sale is my MOTHER'S recently built "G22" swap...

BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING ELSE, THE ONLY REASON FOR SELLING is my mother, who is your typical run of the mill 58 year old female with the patience of a 2nd grader, is NOT trying to invest more money into the car to buy the PROPER h22 ECU... the car is an automatic running off the f series transmission and stock f22 ecu atm (with a few extra lbs. of fuel bumped up thru an adjustable fpr) this being said, it's not at 100% the way it sits and I, yes I, refuse to let this become her daily driver when it would be in that shape, doesn't have proper fuel and oil curve, different timing sequence, NO VTEC!!!! Either way the thing about it is, i haven't found the 96 prelude ECU for under 250 anywhere, you know the one that doesn't have an immobilizer (bleh FAIL HONDA!!!!!) and well i found her a RELIABLE 91 integra 4 door with 10k on rebuild that is just calling her name so she is DONE WITH THIS CAR!!! the accord shell, transmission, and ecu that was purchased (99 prelude with tcm) will all be sold in different thread as we have concluded this will be best way for her to make a lil bit of money back, we know she DEFINATELY won't get all she invested, but it'll be a start and probably best way to go about it.

List of mods:

-F22b1 bottom end (71k miles)
-H22a4 head (55k miles off 99 prelude)
-Type S cams
-H22 int. manifold (with butterflies removed)
-H22 exh. manifold Top pipe
-H22 vtec solenoid
- Brand new
- distributor, button, and cap
- external coil
- EVERY GASKET/SEAL (from valve cover to cam seals, head gaskets to oil pan, EVERYTHING)
- water pump
- oil pump
- plugs and wires
- new timing tensioner and crank shaft gear
- all belts and hoses, vacuum lines, etc...
-Modified cam gear side mount will fit accord and prelude, possibly others?
-Adjustable fpr

-have complete a/c and power steering assembly as well

and i know i'm missing a few things... but i can add this afternoon

The motor was originally put together to go into my mother's 97 accord which had a water pump go out and practically fried the stock f22 that had been in the car. About 2 months of research was put into the swap before attempting to put together, but here is a small list of things that HAD to be done to make swap work...

- 2 oil journals on h22 head had to be sealed
- h22 headgasket modified (only at tabs) to make fit
- waterneck was cut and modified (h22 end one side, f22 other) to fit
- F22 EGR valve added so direct bolt up to accord wiring harness (have h series as well if needed)
- all timing parts converted to H22 assembly, including water pump gear pressed off of h22 and onto f series water pump
- used h22 head studs

i'm sure there is more steps i left out, but these can be updated and discussed as well...

WHAT IS NEEDED BY YOU:

-transmission (unless you'd like to run a tigerjapanese f22 automatic transmission that is less then 7 months old)
-throttle body (unless running automatic again)
-the valve cover is missing 2 bolts (can see in picture)

that's all, car is in time, full of fluid, and ready for YOU!!!

Me and a buddy of mine, t.j. colwell (certified mechanic and state inspector) originally started this project as a means to get my mother back on the road quickly and $$$ efficient, WOOOOOW were we wrong about this swap... sooo many things i hadn't anticipated on even after research, pretty much led this car and setup to a stand still. WELL OVER $1400 TIED UP IN MOTOR now mainly due to use of HONDA dealer parts. HAVE MOST RECEIPTS

THE SWAP IS A BEAST, is getting great compression and is ready to go to a loving or not so loving home so get at me

(a few pics up in a minute or two)
