Description: Looking for a new motor, D16Z6. I'd prefer a long block but will consider a short block and head if I can get sellers from both items quickly.

Why is that? Just because the mini me bumps up compression? Or because it's a destroked 1.6L and possibly can substain a slightly higher rev? Seriously it's the same.

as well as a host of other reasons things are changed to even run the damn thing "properly".

Changed? I take it you have never done one or atleast did it "properly".

Off topic but whatever:

Mini me swap....

D16Z6 Cylinder Head (Including distributor cap, valve cover, plugs/wires, VTEC solenoid, etc)
D16Z6 or D16Y8 Head Gasket
P28 ECU
D16Z6 Timing Belt
D16Z6 Intake Manifold (optional)
D16Z6 Exhaust Manifold (optional)
*If you remove your manifolds, make sure you get new gaskets
D15 bottom end

Make sure you remove the oil plug between cylinder 2 and 3 or no vtec will happen. I would also recommend the y8 plugs due to the compression bump but not necessarily needed. He has everything needed except a bottom end. Which I have a whole b7 motor hence the reason I posted it here. Simple as that. I've done this quite a few times. OP let me know if you are interested.
