ARC Titanium Heat Shield for Honda S2000 (NIB)
The ARC Heat Shield has sold....thanks to all those who replied and PM'd.
Item: JDM ARC Titanium Heat Shield
Application: 2000-2008 S2000 (AP1/AP2)
Condition: NEW IN THE BOX (heat shield in pics is for illustration only) Mine still sits unopened in the original box. Hasn't even been out for pics.
Description from Manufacturer (loose translation): The ARC Titanium Heat Shield for the Honda S2000 replaces the factory header heat shield between the exhaust manifold and the battery compartment. Made completely of titanium (even down to the badge), it is both very strong and light. The ARC Ti Heat Shield provides additional thermal protection from the extreme heat generated by the header.
Reason for Selling: I bought it with the intention of installing it on my S2K. Long story short, I decided to sell my S2K and bought an E46 M3, so I no longer need it.
Additional Info: The ARC Ti H/S is currently out of stock in the United States. Mackin Industries, ARC's U.S. distributor has to special order these on customer demand basis.....the current wait from Japan is 8-16 weeks.
Asking Price: $390 shipped to your door in the lower 48. Shipping via USPS Priority w/DC {International buyers must pay for shipping charges exceeding $15}. Retail on this part is $450 plus international shipping and a 2-4 month wait from Japan. My loss is your gain. Paypal is preferred (gift payment), cash will be accepted for local FTF transaction only. Item is located in the DC Metro area.
