Price: $14K OBO PRICE REDUCED
Description: Im putting my baby up here for sale since I want another '13 5.0. I also rarely drive my GN and it just sits in the garage.
This is a real and quite rare 86 Buick Grand National with the true 65K original miles. Only 5k GN's were made in 86 and are much more rare compared to the common 87 when 25k units were made. Car has the original paint and is great on the vertical panels with some clear coat bubble on the hood. I would give the paint and body a 7or8/10 since im picky. I have all the original papers, manuals, and buyers orders in the glove box. Also have almost every original part; including the turbo, intercooler, and wheels. Everything turbo buick I have is included for the right price, and its a lot of parts.
Drivetrain: Most of this stuff has less than a couple hundred miles except the turbo and motor.
-Original 65K 3.8 turbo V6. Motor is dirty (had a mystery oil leak) but she runs great and will shit and get. She breaks the tires loose on 25psi doing 50mph . If you know these cars then you know they were built to last and will take a lot of boost. Iron block and heads with 8:1 CR factory.
-Brand new Art Carr stage 3 200r4 tranny that I just installed a couple weeks ago. Tranny was $3k alone. He built and dynoed it for 800hp. Has his 9" 3200 stall converter that I just put in with the tranny.
-Precision 6152E turbo. Spools great and is rated for 630hp.
-Precision stock location stretched intercooler. Big upgrade for stock with 3" in/out rated for 950hp so it is overkill for me.
-Old snow performance alky kit.
-New poly tranny mount installed, feels great. Have the 2 new poly motor mounts not installed yet.
-3" 304 SS RJC down pipe. Best down pipe for a turbo buick. Still nice and clean with a light gold tint.
-3" custom single shot exhaust painted black with SS test pipe and magnaflow muffler. Right now its just the muffler on the DP as the exhaust was getting painted.
Interior: 9/10
-All original interior even the original floor mats
-one thing wrong is the passenger door strap is missing a clip and is loose
Exterior:7 or 8/10
-went over the paint imperfections in the beginning.
-has all correct and original emblems
-has original 86 grille the distinguishes it between an 86 from the common 87
-Centerline telstar forged wheels on BFG street tires. Also have the OEM GN wheels
Overall its hard to find an original GN this clean. The car drives great and it gets a lot of attention from every car guy on the road every time I drive it. It has just some small things that need restoring here and there.

Re: Rare 86 Buick Grand National 65k Original Miles
Seen this car a few times, checked it out at springfest. Very clean inside and out, amazing shape.
Glws if I was in the position to buy I'd be all over it.

Re: Rare 86 Buick Grand National 65k Original Miles
Thanks man. I love the car but wife wants a new 5.0 of her own. Lol. You won't find another that is as original as this and that low of miles close to my price.
