97 mercury mountaineer 2500$
Trying to sell this truck for a friend of mine.
This truck has 185,000 and still runs pretty well.
Interior 6 out of 10
The truck has 20 inch chrome wheels, and he doesnt have the stock wheels.
4 wheel drive but the front drive shaft is disconnected because he wanted to do airbags, so he still has it if you want to install the 4 wheel drive back.
Pros: It runs and still paint looks good.
Cons: Rear window is broken, so its not too expensive to replace.
Price is 2500$ obo

Re: 97 mercury mountaineer 2500$
I contacted AJ about a trade on this truck. And I consider alot of people on here friends.
So therefore ill post a little information you left out.
I priced out the back window and its right at 375
Also its knocking rather badly, VERY LOUDLY (and that was just hearing it over the phone)
Theres a very large dent in the rear passenger door
And I was also very concerend about that front driveshaft being taken out. The truck is now only getting HALF of the power to the rear than it would normally have as an AWD. Also it also leads me to believe it was taken out because the transfercase went bad, and they are very expensive.

And its not too bad? - Im sorry I was under the impression that rod knock was a halfway big deal, cause then you have to pull the motor .... tear it apart .... put it back together .... etc etc.
Now a bad windshield wiper, that not too bad.
