87 mustang gt convertable
Name: Keith
Location: Staunton
Means of contact: 540-688-9196
Price: $2,5000
Description: just got it a few weeks ago and its not for me, I'm more of an import guy. Runs great lots of fun to drive, it had been sitting for while when I got it but po claimed to start it up every once in awhile. It's currently sitting on progressive rims with almost new Yokohama tires. The heater core and blower motor and everything else there was said to have been replaced recently. Clutch is also supposedly new, I will say its pretty stiff and grabs good. I have a set of 16" pony wheels in good shape to go with it as well but the tires on them are down to wear marks ( good for burn outs) it is stock internally except for new valve cover and intake manifold gaskets. Only mods done to it that I know of is high flow cats, h pipe and flow master cat back. Short shifter with nismo knob that may or may not go with it( I will supply a universal knob from autozone of buyers choice, I just really like it). New Sony stereo. To my knowledge those are the only mods done to it. It does still have ac and power steering
The only problems with it are the top was not taken care of, it doesn't leak or anything but it does have 1 tear by the back window. I think it was supposed to be painted flat black but I'm not sure, the paint looks like shit. I was told by someone who does body work that if its wet sanded and buffed it will look fine. Tach doesn't work, seems more like a wire issue when it starts the needle goes down a little bit, good used cluster is $50.
I did see the pictures of it when it was sanded down and primered and there is zero bondo or rust. Car is very clean aside from paint. Interior is great, no cracks in the dash has seat covers I haven't had time to pull them off to see how the cloth is yet will try to remember when I get some interior pics. It is very solid and mechanically sound I bought it to use as a daily but I'm not sure if I can part with my 323 and can't have both. I do not have to sell it. It only has 138k miles. I believe my price is fair if not feel welcome to make me an offer
Pictures:
These are from the day I bought it, it had literally just had the cover pulled off of it
After it was cleaned up a bit
I will try to get some more and better pictures of it later today

Re: 87 mustang gt convertable
Forgot that it also has a dash mat which is what the Velcro things are, anyway interior and top pics
Seats are really dirty could use a shampooing, but they're not ripped
The small tear
