Means of contact: PM
Price: SOLD
Description:
2003 DSG Cobra with 69k miles
Priorities have changed, so I have decided to part ways with my beloved Cobra. This is my fair weather daily driver, and has been garage kept since I purchased it from the original owner in 2007.
Engine Modifications:
Diablo predator tune by Rick at Amazon Tuning 470rwhp 485rwtq (with 2.76)
Billetflow 2.93/2.76 upper rings
Billetflow 4 piece idler set
Magnaflow catted-X
Magnaflow catback (sanded and hand polished)
JLT DSG CAI
Cooling Modifications:
LFP heat exchanger
Mark VIII cooling fan
Boxed in radiator
Even flow head cooling mod
170 degree T-stat
Transmission Modifications:
Spec 3+ clutch
Fidanza aluminum flywheel
Liberty 26 spline input shaft
TOB sleeve
MGW shifter
Fiore firewall adjuster/quadrant
LDC clutch freeplay mod
Suspension Modifications:
Maximum Motorsports Coilovers (F/R 400/600 spring rates)
Maximum Motorsports Sport valved Bilstein struts/shocks
Maximum Motorsports C/C plates
Maximum Motorsport full length subframe connectors
Maximum Motorsports alum rack bushings
Maximum Motorsports 14mm IRS and low profile subframe bolts
Maximum Motorsports sway bar endlinks and bushings
Wheel / Brake Modifications:
Polished 18 x 9 and 18 x 10 S Style wheels
265/35/18 Nitto NT05 and 315/30/18 Hankook R-S2 tires (only half worn)
3mm rear spacer
Brembo 4 piston calipers (Cobra R kit)
SS brake lines all 4 corners
Appearance Modifications:
Black powdercoated valve covers
Short Antenna
15% window tint
Ray Hilton boost overlay
The good:
Since this car has been my daily driver for 4 years, it is in perfect running condition. I have recently (less than 1k miles) replaced the following: Timing chain, timing chain tensioners and guides, all cover gaskets, spark plugs, ALL fluids (oil, coolant flush, transmission, rear diff, brake fluid), water pump, cooling fan, and fuel filter, and the 3rd brake light. Despite the license plates, it has been completely babied and has not been raced since I purchased it.
The bad:
The paint is in flawless condition on most of car, but there are a decent number of chips on the front end from highway driving. The hood in particular has one large chip that is noticeable from more than 10 feet away. The chips are not rusted, but a quality front end respray would bring the car to completely perfect condition.
The Billetflow pulleys may need to be replaced, since they are starting to show signs of wear.
Please contact me via PM. I will gladly provide additional photos and information to serious buyers. Sorry, no trades.
