2001 ZX2...priced to sell!!!
*Name: Rob
*Location: Williamsburg, VA
*Contact: PM or preferably email -> rlbzx2 [at] gmail [dot] com
*Price: $3,000 OBO Priced to sell!!!
*Reason for selling: I have "outgrown" this car sort to speak. I ended up buying a Mazda Speed Protege and that has taken over as my new toy. I'm looking to sell this car and use the profits to buy a reliable daily driver to keep the miles off of the Mazda.
*Details:
2001 Ford ZX2
144,xxx on the dash.
Head work was done less than 20k ago.
I have owned the car since it had 33k on the dash.
Exterior: Full Buddy Club Kit, J Class Fenders, FG Invader Hood, Erubuni Wing the top half of it is CF, Tinted windows, 17" Konig Hotswaps (not even 7 months old). Front bumper, fenders, side skirts are molded. Rear reflector bar was taking out and molded over, and back bumper was molded on as well.
Suspension: Ground Control Coilovers, just put on brand new s/r struts (not even 5k on them).
Interior: Pretty much stock. I do have the reverse indiglo s/r guages from zxtuner, and have the calibration kit on there so the speedo is correct. Basic cd player, nothing special...had a nice stereo in there at one point but that's a long story.
Engine: PnP head, 1mm larger valves, Hi Rev cams from zxtuner, adjustable cam gears, new valves, retainers, buckets, etc, replaced timing belt. (All engine work was done by Focuspower in NC) OBX 4-2-1 header, 2.5" exhaust (not a "true" trubendz, but I did use their resonator, and their muffler from their site and added dual 3" magnaflow tips, looked better in my opinion with the kit...has a nice low tone.) SVT MAF, 42lb injectors, Hotshot CAI, Gude TB. Nothing done to the bottom end of the motor, still stock.
Issues: Window tint on the back window is bubbling. The front bumper does have some nicks, and cracks in it. Car was a daily driver up and down the highway (drive an hour to and from work everyday), most of my miles are highway. The door panels have some damage where the speakers go (was going to have a friend build me a custom fg enclosure and panel, well that fell through) There is a small hole in the dash, right behind the steering wheel, above the guage cluster, to this day unsure of how that happened. That piece is separate from the dash so replacing it should be cheap. Some of the panels on the passenger side where the engine comp are missing. A/C works, just needs to be recharged.
Someone make me a good offer please!!! Thanks for looking!

Re: 2001 ZX2...priced to sell!!!
Take the body kit off. Put back stock panels/fenders/bumpers.
Sell the kit seperate, or have a bon-fire.
Sell car closer to stock.
Appeal to the masses.
*Edit*: Put some center support on the wing and put it in a park.

Re: 2001 ZX2...priced to sell!!!
I don't have any of the stock panels/bumpers/etc....
Kit is molded...not the easiest to take off and not ruin the car. The whole idea was to have a zx2 that was somewhat unique.
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed...hopefully someone will want to take the project over...maybe not. Thanks for the input though Richmond.
Bump!
