Re: 2001 Ford Focus (NO TITLE)
so you took this car in as payment for work...
it most likely has a lein on it and whoever process the vehicle will have the lein holder come pick it up...
why in the world would you take payment with a car that you dont even own...

We're in the process of acquiring our own title for the car.
It's been here for three months and no lien holders have snatched it up in the night yet, so I think we're in the clear.

It's very common for a customer to turn the title over to the shop when they can't afford to pay the bill. This customer never showed with the title.

Re: 2001 Ford Focus (NO TITLE)
We were going to sell it for parts, but don't have time to part it out, so we took a shot at selling it as a whole parts car.
Now we're getting a title for it, since it is a good running car and not really worth a lengthy part-out process.
