2001 expedition AWD blown motor

I have a 2001 xlt awd expedition that is in good shape besides the motor. It is still in the suv but will need to be replaced. It also has air bag factory suspension. The inside does have some cigarette burns on the arm rest but I would say over all its in good shape. You can put 2300 into a new motor and have a nice ass ride. it needs an engine man...probably has a dead battery...the air leaks down over time...
and honestly get a set of springs for 60 bucks and do away with the air suspension all together..its that easy
especially with the key on and no lights/radio im sure the battery is dead

The add has it listed as a 2000 and a 2001. which one is it? Also, the ebay add states that the motor is for a 97-98 expedition. Do you have any idea what the differences are between the years? I would have guessed that all the 5.4's would be interchangeable but I maybe not.

you can get a used 5.4 for around 800 and the install would run about 1200...
so for another 2000 you can be driving...
so for another 2000 you can be driving...
