2000 Expedition 4x4/AWD XLT Cheap!!!
Name: Kenny
Location: Staunton
Means of contact: PM/Text
Price: $3,000 OBO
Title: Clean & clear
Description: We are down sizing and have decided to sell our 2000 Expedition. Daily driver, Runs & drives great, no smoke, ticks or knocks, body is in good condition, interior is gray cloth with some wear but no rips or tears in the seats just could use a good cleaning "We have 4 children", 3rd row seat w/ air, a/c blows ice cold, heat works great, all power, Keyless entry, Aftermarket CD player, 182k miles "mostly highway", 11/11 inspection sticker, 4.6L Triton v8, AWD w/ manual select 4hi & 4lo "yes, 4x4 works great!", tow package. Below you will find a list of things that we have replaced in the last year.
NEW parts...
Battery
(3) coil packs
All spark plugs
TPS sensor
Brakes & Rotors
both front lower ball joints
front U-joints
Alternator
All 4 tires have less than 1k miles on them
EGR Valve
Transmission was replaced roughly 50k miles ago with a NEW trans.
SUV does have (3) issues that could use some attention that I'm aware of "Hints the low price" but nothing that effects reliability or the way it drives .
(1) Service engine light is on and the code it is throwing is "EGR system insufficient flow" Hints why I replaced the EGR valve but that did not fix the issue so it either has to be a clogged port or the DPFI sensor which is 60 bucks at Autozone.
(2) Has an exhaust leak which is another $60 fix at any exhaust shop.
(3) there is a faint popping sound only under WOT does not do it under normal acceleration. Has been making this noise for over 2 1/2 yrs and hasn't gotten any worse or caused any issues. I haven't worried about getting it looked at because it really isn't that bad.
We have had this truck for over 4 yrs and it has made many trips to and from Chesapeake VA to see family plus many other out-of-state family trips and it has been EXTREMELY dependable for us and I wouldn't hesitate to get in it and drive it cross country today if needed.
Price is $3,000 which is less than KBB in fair condition but is still SLIGHTLY neg, just come drive it and make a cash offer the worst I can say is no. CASH only NO trades, Call/Text 540-448-5681
