Vehicle Description :

Up for sale is my 1999 SVT Cobra. This vehicle is # 1129 of 4040 made this particular year. The car is black in color,with 84k original miles on the chassis and engine. The engine is a 4.6 litre,DOHC 32 valve All Aluminum 8 cylinder engine. The compression ratio for this engine is 9.85:1 and uses no less than 91 Octane Fuel. I have the original certificate showing the vehicle date,and what vehicle number it is as well.

I am currently the Third owner of this vehicle. The second owner whom I still keep in contact with has a mach 1,and informed me that in the 3 years he owned the vehicle,he only put 13,000 miles on the car. The car is in excellent condition for a 1999 vehicle of any make or model. The car is adult driven,and is a no smoking/no eating inside vehicle.

I give the paint of the car a 7.5/10 because its still in good shape,it just needs a detail to really bring the paint out to its true form.

The interior gets a 9.5/10. I detail all the interior pieces,as well as vaccum and organize the interior weekly. The leather seats show normal sitting wear,but there are no rips,tears of any kind inside of this vehicle.

The engine runs just how it ran from the factory. Strong,with a smooth idle,and has the high revving pull and power that all 4 valve engines are known for having. I change the oil every 2000 miles with mobil 1 5w30 full synthetic motor oil. I run it all year around,because it doesnt get super cold in this part of virginia.

The transmission fluid in the T45 Transmission was drained and filled with 3.2 quarts of Dextron/Mercon III at 80,xxx miles by me.

For a few reasons really :

I am deploying to Iraq (possibly afghanistan this time depending on how things go next year),and I want to have a plan before I go. If I kept the cobra,it would become a money pit between building the motor,buying a blower,and building the suspension/drivetrain. Not to mention getting the car repainted and any other things I would do along the way. Its just not something I want to do. Id rather cut my losses,buy a 2k or 3k honda,and just save the residual money for the deployment. Then when I return,my options will be 100% larger. This is the problem I had when I came back from deployment the first time. I had no credit,and a lot of money. This time I will have good credit,and a whole lot of money.

Other than that,I want to get into something a little newer,with some "luxury" type features to it.

Thanks guys. I really take the upmost pride in owning this car. I get a lot of compliments and head turns being its a daily driver. I wish I could finish it,but hopefully it will go to another mustang enthusiast that can make it into a respectable street car.
