Re: 1994 Ford Taurus SHO FS/FT
Not one person is interested in a 220hp 5-speed for less than you could buy a Civic shell
For $2100 I will also throw in a 2nd set of rims and tires.

I did get caught by that MR2 due to its huge turbo and lighter weight - can't hate though that car was beautiful. Even if he did spin out 2x right in front of me .
So no one needs a sweet winter beater?

Just an FYI - I'm selling this car because I own 2 other cars and don't need a 3rd.

OK, how about this?
$1600 excluding new front struts (old ones weren't blown but wanted new units for track), front brake upgrade and subwoofer. Car will come with 10.6" rotors up front with 90% Hawk HPS pads.
$1350 excluding above and new tires (will come with bald winter tires on 16" slicer rims, not black.)

No more maintenance required than any other car with 148k miles on it.
-Engine is non-interference and timing belt can be removed without removing any motor mounts or major engine parts.
-Most parts are easily accessible - I didn't even have to remove the intake on my 92' SHO until 2 years after purchasing it. Yes, you can replace the spark plugs without taking off that crazy intake (don't even need a universal.) Alternators take 30 minutes to replace and cost $50 at a junkyard. Starters cost $40 and are a 30 minute job (1st repair I ever did on my other SHO.) AC compressor takes 1 hour (not that this car has AC )
The major things to look out for on SHOs are:
-Leaking spark plug gaskets. Makes the car run horribly.
-Failing power steering pumps / steering racks. PITA to replace.
Lucky for the next buyer, the spark plug wells have 0 oil in them and the steering system is 100%. I have a 2 y/o receipt from when the gaskets were replaced, along with the rear shocks and several other things.
Seriously though - 220hp SHO vs 90hp Econo Hatchcrap - whats the downside?
