1991 s10 sbc procharged***testing waters***
Name: Kenneth
Location: midlothian
Asking:
w/o procharger $5250
with procharger $7750
Up for possible sale is a 1991 chevy s-10, which actually started life as a gmc sonoma. all grading will be on a 1-10 scale, with 10 being the best.
Engine:
Started life about 5 years ago as a stock replacement crate motor direct from chevrolet. but since that time it has gone through some changes and sits like it is today.
Rotating assmebly, stock bore, gm cast crank shaft and rods. Push rods are customer fit to accomidate that gm performance aluminum heads and harland sharp roller rockers.
Fast burn GMPP 62cc heads 2.00/1.60 valves
GMPP dual plane intake with a 1inch HVH aluminum spacer
Harland sharp roller rockers
Lunati Solid lift cam 40134 with .517/.543 lift
Gear to gear timing, no chain
fuel:
Boost referenced C&S specialties mechanical fuel pump rated to over 700hp
C&S specialties blow thru carb
Goodies:
P1SC Procharger with 5-6lb pulley
M/T Street Radials 255/50/16
Slide-a-link traction bars
Eaton Posi with 3.73 gears with reinforced rear end cover
T-56 transmission
1 5/8 in sanderson shorty headers y pipe down to a 3in single exhaust
overall the truck runs well. mostly only driven on the weekends, and only if it isnt raining. the paint is a one year only paint called 'arrival blue' and came on the 2007 pontiac g6 gt.
Willing to sell with or with out procharger set up.
the truck will never run at the track what it can run on the street. traction issues.
w/o procharger, best e/t 13.40's @ 108mph, again spinning, but on street beat an awd talon running 12.40's and other numberous auto's domestic and import
With procharger, best e/t 13.40's @ 116mph, really not agressive until 3rd gear.
Reason thinking about parting with it is I really just don't have the time to enjoy crusin' in it anymore. With a baby, mortgage and unstable economy you need to be prepared.
Paint- has some blemishes, 2minor clear coat runs, overall good 7/10Engine- makes good power and suprises people in high dollar rides on the street 9/10
Transmisson- 6 gears, 2 over drives, fun 10/10
Again, only testing the waters here on vadriven, please take a look at the pics, these are a little older but still looks the same.
