Default 1977 Chevrolet Corvette "Stingray"

Name:Ben
Location:Yorktown
Means of contact:PM, 757-310-7123 (text only, i dont answer numbers i dont know)
Price: $14,500 OBO!!!
no trades from this forum, i want to get back into imports(s2000's,wrx's,bmw's,etc.)

Description: First off i am in no hurry to sell, im just trying to see what else is out there. I love this car to death and its a blast to drive,it gets attention everywhere i go and the girls love it, but its just not economical for me right now so im trying to see if i can get something a little more "modern". It's an original numbers matching car with 119,xxx miles (not to bad for a 35+ year old car). I haven't owned the car long, but i do know most of its history. Garage kept it's entire life with oil changes, transmission flushes, belt changes etc. that were done routinely and it shows. It does have some flaws like any car especially one of this age but nothing major, mostly cosmetic. Some aftermarket parts have been put on but for the most part she's all original.

Engine/Exhaust:
numbers matching 350 L-48
new thermostat
edelbrock 650cfm performer carburetor
edelbrock performer intake
new air cleaner with edelbrock chrome cover
chrome valve covers
new spark plugs/wires
new distributor
aftermarket headers (not sure what type, there not pretty but they work lol)
full custom exhaust with custom made mufflers (agressive v8 sound that rumbles houses, but quiet when cruising)

Exterior/Body:
Original blue color from factory
repainted once in it's life
no dings or dents
never been in an accident
very few scratches (hard to notice unless there in your face)
car has T-tops in excellent shape, no leaks
excellent shape overall 8/10
***there is a small spiderweb crack in the paint on the passenger corner of the rear bumper***
^^i will be getting it repainted soon^^

Interior:
all stock
white/grey leather seats with minimal wear
tilt/telescopic steering wheel
no cracks in dash
aftermarket touch screen radio with it's own little remote
aftermarket speakers in the back(not sure of brand)
only bad things is that the left turn signal bulb is out(will be fixing)
and the interior panels for the T-tops came off, they came off when the previous owner had it(will also be getting fixed)

Suspension:
Front End
completely rebuilt
refurbished and painted control arms
new control arm bushings
new ball joints
new tie-rod ends
new idler arm
turned rotors
new VB&P springs(lowered front roughly an inch for more aggressive look)
new Bilstein shocks
new swaybar endlinks
^^the ride is much better than stock now^^
Rear End
Completely untouched by me except for the brakes
all wheel bearings where serviced by previous owner
and its also got 4 wheel disk brakes

Wheels:
sitting on 255/60 R15's with very little tread left
^^new 255/60 R15's will be put up front, not sure about the rear yet^^
stock rally wheels that came on the car

Bad:
issue with the paint on rear bumper(i will be fixing it)
interior T-top panels(will be fixed)
tires(putting new ones on)
headlights need the bezels(very cheap fix)
no A/C, compressor that was on the car was shot so i took it off(i never use A/C anyway)
the only major issues with the car that im working on fixing now is the P/S is leaking
and there is a small electrical draw on the battery both of witch will be attended to.

**Please no lowball offers, i have had this car professionally appraised for 18,000 if everything ran good, that was before all the work i put into it so i think my asking price is fair and if you dont like it then dont comment on it. I dont go around bashing peoples threads about there prices so dont do it on mine. Also please consider im attending to over half the issues in the "BAD" list, other than those the car is a great.**

And once again, I AM IN NO HURRY TO SELL YET. I love this car, but im more of an import person.

Car has CLEAN TITLE

These pictures were taken before the front end was rebuilt and the compressor taken out, sits a little lower now. I will update as soon as i take new pics.
