im sure they were shaved because someone was planning on trying to make it a show car....i have no explanation as to why they think shaved handles makes a show car but whatever...

and honestly by the looks of it they probably just tokk duct tape and bondo and packed it in...probably be easy to put them back in

It has around the lower part floor pan is good trunk-ok will need some work. like I said it is a project car but if you wanted you could put it on the road with lil-work and body filler:o. You are welcome to come check it out it runs and drives.
