Default 1953 Ford f100 with v8 flathead

Name: Bud
Location: Richmond, VA
Means of contact: chappys4life@gmail.com
Price: $ 4,200

I have a 1953 f100 239 v8 flathead truck with clean title. It is still a 3 speed on the column with a 6 volt system.

Good:

-New optima battery
-New 2/0 battery cables with soldered ends
-New starter solenoid haven't hooked up yet
-Just did kingpins, drag link, tie rods, u joints, all new rear brakes, new rubber brake hoses front & back, and fronts got new wheel cylinders
-Petronix conversion, petrionix coil, petronix wires, and ngk plugs done in spring
-Carb rebuilt
-Master cylinder done in the spring
-Wiring harness from cab back was replaced right before I got it.
-Fuel pump was replaced before I got it (think I have a receipt)
-Left side has a stainless bearclaw latch kit from mid fifty have the kit for the right side as well just needs installed
-Have a new pinion seal, diff gasket, new spare front brake shoes and corresponding hardware (pins, adjuster), new mid fifty lowering springs for the rear, and shackles to drop in a 9" with shock mounts.

Bad:
-Left floorpan needs replaced and cab corners probably need it
-Needs new side glass with all of rubber redone include track rollers
-Brakes still need re-bled and adjusted
-Needs an alignment
-Tires need replacing not immediately but not a lot of tread either.
-Motor unknown mileage
-Needs a headlight switch
-Needs exterior door handles
-Metal access panels for inside of door need work
-Heater core needs re-cored maybe replaced
-Wood floorboard needs replaced have a metal replacement
-Bed wood is shot
-Windshield seal is shot and glass could use a replacement as well.
-Fuel tank sender is broke
-Steering box is shot
-Steering wheel has some cracks
-Clutch is maybe half life

I have a complete steering column and box with shifter and steering wheel from a 56 that needs a rebuild, also a right side metal floorboard to replace the wooden one. Also have a set of original rims with 3 so so hub caps.

As of right now because of the brakes and alignment no test drives as I do not think it is road worthy yet. It does fire up so you can hear it run.
