yet anudder project
So, I sold the "freak" bike. Thing is, the guy is making payments on it, usually about $500 every couple weeks. The bike and the title are still here till it's paid off. When he gives me money, I buy parts for the replacement.
So far, at least it's on it's wheels, lol. I have everything I need to rebuild the motor for the most part, and alot of the parts I'm waiting on are on the way as I type this.
Nothing fancy, just a simple ride to cruise and get to work on.
2" stretch in the hardtail, stock front end dimensions, (severely) shortened. shaved stock XS forks/trees, 21" harley wheel on the front, 16 x 3 harley wheel on the back, "wassel" tank (stole it of my 'ol lady's bike), 12" apes, jammer aluminum fender, etc, etc, etc.
It's all just kinda thrown together at the moment to see what I'm working with, but it's a start. More updates to come. I have to have this bike done before my old bike is completely paid for.

Nice to see a thread on the new project. Can't wait to get one so I can start on it... Hopefully I'll run across something soon. I wanna make it a winter project.

Re: yet anudder project
yup, another yamaha. I have 3 of 'em now, lol. I got one in trade for some framework, and another was given to me by my dad. Didn't know what to do with it until I sold my daily ride, so I cut the one I got from pops in half .
Just got the seat mounted yesterday. The one in the pics isn't the seat for the bike. Got a nice "tanline" from welding all night last night, lol.
