Hey guys I just ordered a Joe Rocket Leather jacket to match my bike, and now I need pants cause Race Control at VMP was giving me crap for running faster than 120 MPH without leather pants. Can I get any brand pants with a zipper, or does it have to be joe rocket, in order for it to zip up to the jacket? I also plan on doing some track days at VIR so I need them to zip together. Any suggestions on affordable pants would be appreciated! I'm a college student so saving money where I can is good lol

I'd imagine the zippers would have to be close in size. My alpinestars zipper is smaller than my feildsheer one.

I know that doesn't help at all when ordering online seeing as you can't match them up, but it sounded good lol

lol well thanks for the response at least. Also, do the pants have to have knee sliders in order for me to do track days?

check out www.newenough.com for the pants and as far as size i think you will be ok with any of them but the tech dept there should be able to help you out

you don't have to have sliders to do track days, but lemme tell you, if you get a knee down without them, the rest of your day is shot to shit. pucks slide easily, leather does not.

(read: dislocated hip when your knee goes in ways it was never intended to go)

speaking from experience... and I wonder why it hurts to kickstart my godamn bike :/

Didn't the jacket come with a full zipper to where you unzip it and the part that comes off, can be sewed onto any pant you buys so it will zip?
