VIR results.............
I gotta tell ya, didn't have fun at all on Saturday. Since I missed the track day on Friday I was assed out for such a large track with elevation changes. I'm used to small tracks like Jennings and CMP. But oh well.
Missed the first practice session Saturday due to tech, but made the second one. So only about 6 laps under my belt for a brand new track in prep for a solo 16..............what fun. Needless to say I started 40th and finished in 29th by attrition only. I finished dead last with a blazing fastest lap time of 2:08...........................yeesh. At least I didn't wreck.
Today I finished second to last only due to a red flag in the 6th lap. I was passed just before turn 1 on the lap that was red flagged. Race was half over so that was it. Not sure of my times but I would say high 1:50ish. Here's some pics:
the paddock (we roll deep)
my baby
My fat ass launching (good launch but I brake wayy to early for turn 1 so everyone ends up passing me anyways.........
And the best pic of the day, it's too damn big to post:

Re: VIR results.............
you know the saying, to finish first, first you must finish, so yea you sorta finished in last but you beat everyone that couldn't keep their bikes on the track, sounds like a good result for your first race and your first time on the track, i saw the last race and your launch was good
i think i was just really out of wack from not riding over winter or NESBA is a much faster group than STT and Cornerspeed because i was much further back than usual, but oh well i had a great time and really loved the new 600, but looks like you guys got all the good photographers, the stuff picsofyou.com took from our track day was absolute garbage

Re: VIR results.............
I appreciate it Del. I missed the track day on Friday and I'm sure that would have helped me allot. Never having been on that track before was very unnerving, especially with only about 8 laps under my belt before my first race.
Steel braided brake lines and tire warmers are a must before my next race weekend.
And I know what you mean. Lapping everyone in the begginer group or middle group on track days does NOTHING to prep you for your first race. I was a turtle compared to everyone else out there. It was an eye opening experience to say the least....................
