See The Bike?
Sorry if it is a repost, couldn't find it anywhere.
As moms will ALWAYS be moms, she sent me this, this morning
See the bike?
How about now?
The Honda rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The riders reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place. All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety Department.

Re: See The Bike?
but the fact that people will still not be paying 100% attention to the road will remain, even with bluetooth. im not saying it wont help, but its not a 100% solution

Come to think of it, it's kind of scary how the law allows you to multi task while in charge of a piece of machinery that can end lives.

Re: See The Bike?
yeah wtf, everyone's using cell phones, using the vanity mirrors, changing their sirius/xm radio stations, watching movies on their in-dash dvd players, plus all the people that are mentally challenged driving in the first place

Re: See The Bike?
actually. He may not know or just didnt write that the motorcycle was going +120mph. . . . I read this article a few yrs ago... It was both of their faults, but it could had been avoided if the rider was going the speed limit.
