XS's are getting harder to come by, especially for cheap. Been looking for a donor motor to build for Maxton, without much luck.

I bought the spare motor off the guy for next to nothing, and it turns out the bike was sold... to my dad, lol. He's gonna build a clean lil street-tracker out of it.

sold the impala, so I have some extra money to build a nasty lil XS motor. 750cc setup, ported head, bigger valves, cam, high power electronic ignition, etc. stuff that bad boy in my light lil chop, swap the front end for my modded inverted GSXR setup, and let's go break some speed records. (ECTA won't let me run with a springer, and I'd have a hard time mounting damper to it anyway)

Kinda wish I could have bought the complete bike too, would have built another chop out of it and sold it for profit. at least it went to someone who's gonna cut it up nice-n-proper though.

ECTA record for my class is (at the moment) 136mph in a standing start mile. I bet I can break that record easy

i'm not mad, i don't build kawi's, it's not my fault they build crap.

so much so that SOME people build em with HONDA motors in them. guess you gotta keep em running somehow

honda motor = free.. z1/kz 900/1000 super hard to find and pricey


either way faster better build than a xs motor!


from what i hear u have to always have to keep retunning the xs carbs. always messing with sumthing... sounds better build to me!
