To my knowledge, no one (including myself), thought you guys were "asshats" for me getting flamed on yalls forum, i asked what i now realize was a dumb question to people i didnt know. I do however know ppl think you guys are sometimes drama queens. I have no 'beef' with you or any of the other coast riders, I havent ridden with yall, and probably wont untill next season when I have another bike. and THAT one WILL be legit out the box. I look forward to being able to expierience pungo and the only reason i havent ventured down that way has been the issue about the legality of my bike. anywho, How about you guys meet @ like the hooters in hampton then ride out to the beach (va beach). provided its not raining.

Sorry I've only been on my bike for 3 weeks now and I don't feel comfortable pushing it yet....especially on public roads in the 757 where theirs cops all over the freaking place.

If not wanting to risk loosing my bike, insurance and (or) life makes me a "poser" and a "squid" then I guess I'm guilty as charged.

Have a little class.

I think there may have been some misunderstanding from your earlier post.

What I was getting out of your other post was that you were too good to ride with people here. Apperently that is not what you meant.

Now that I understand what you meant, i have to agree, go ride at your own pace and dont go beyond your limits.

I would agree as well. But I think you guys are missing what we as "Coast Riders" have always been preaching: Ride Your Own Ride.

I didn't get into the Coast Riders my first ride out with them because I was the best rider ever; far from it. I got in on my first ride out with them because I let them do their own thing. When they were practically dragging knee through each turn I let them have at it. I backed off cause I didn't know the road and didn't yet know my limits.

I caught up with them at each stop sign as the Coast Riders do for everyone on every ride.

They were impressed that I rode my own ride and didn't feel like I had to keep up with them or try to impress them.

Sooooooo..............................

If you don't feel comfortable riding with us cause you're new then that's on you. Not us. We will turn no one away from a group ride as long as you're wearing the proper gear and riding within YOUR own limits; not ours. We wait at every stop sign and there are numerous break times during our group rides.

Talk with buttercup; we sometimes leave her behind in the twisties; but we're there at each stop sign..................

Plus one thing you're missing; I've become a better rider by watching better riders take lines through turns right in front of me.

How do any of you expect to get better if you never ride?

Just something you might want to think about............................

You don't have to "push it".

I'd be willing to take you out to Pungo one on one doing the speed limit and maybe giving you some pointers (if you want some) anytime you want. Just let me know.

I'm off everyday this week at 2pm.

And class? What's that????????

And usually there's never any cops out back there at the times we ride....................

It's cool man. I just don't like people saying shit about "us" that have never met us.

As for "drama queens"? It all goes back to me telling it like it is to people's faces. Not many like or appreciate that. I could give two shits. I won't talk about anyone behind their back and I appreciate the same in return. It's that simple.

When you get legal and feel like coming down here let me know.

I know I'd be willing to ride up there; I'll talk to everyone about it tomorrow night at our Two Wheel Tuesday.............

Ive talked with Buttercup many'a'time, and she has been telling me, go to Pungo. I want to go, id like to have turn after turn after turn, but i have a schedule in "real life" that doesnt always allow me to get to that end of Va, hence another reason why i have yet to go up to Richmond and ride with Bret and his people.

I dont think the Coast Riders are asshats, id like to ride with you guys, however, i dont need you to come on the boards and basically say (which you did) that none of us here "acutally" ride. Thats extremely cocky, so if your the type to say that, then what am i supposed to think of the rest of the riders? I guess that maybe your all cocky, making you all bastards in my opinion. BUt i have yet to have met you guys, and MAYBE you guys are cool. But from all your prior posts, i would have to exclude the latter and just assume you all are cocky.

ok, i retract what i said. i didn't know this was the case. i certainly understand as i'm a new rider as well. however, i don't mind meeting other people and learning from them. i'm not gonna go gung ho and be stupid if they are doing something beyond my limit. i'm sure everyone's been there we both have been. if they are bragging or belittling people for their lack of knowledge/experience in riding then they're just being assholes.

Thats cool man...I think we just had a bit of a misunderstanding. I'd be down for a little one on one (instruction that is) . Some pointers would be more than welcome. I start classes this thrusday so I'll have my afternoons off after that too...maybe we can set something up.
