Rich. Dragway bike requirements

I'm sure this is somewhere obvious, but I have searched here and richmonddragway.com and couldn't find the requirements for racing bikes. Anything other than helmet, gloves, boots....?

as far as the rider, i think if its like 6.2 in the 1/8 or faster you have to have full leathers, 1/4 mile is like 9.99 or better full leathers, other than that, just leather jacket, boots, gloves, kill switch hooked up to your jacket.....

and a screw in your kill switch with a tether hooked to your jacket will pass as a kill switch.

Don't you need to find out who sanctions the strip (NHRA, IHRA, etc.) and then look at their requirements?

thats pretty much all the requiements that i listed, and my kill switch is just what skroozloose explained, its not that hard as far as bike requirements, every track may differ as far as the clothing req.

Honestly you can get away with nothing but a jacket, helmet, and gloves at Richmond no matter how fast you run. Not that I recommend it. VMP enforces rules and you must have a chain guard, kill switch, jacket, gloves, helmet. (full leathers for 9.99-faster and/or over 126mph)
