Review: Speedo Healer
Today I recieved and installed my Speedo Healer that I ordered on monday from http://www.superbikesupply.com/ In Forest City, NC. AWESOME PRODUCT. Typically from the factory, Bike speedometers are a little bit generous in telling you how fast you are going, if you change gear ratios this becomes even more of an issue. In addition to your speedo being off you are racking up miles on your bike that shouldnt be there.
Speedo healers website: http://www.speedohealer.com/ I paid $85 for the unit including shipping and the direct fit wiring harness. The unit was super easy to install, all I had to do was remove the seat and tail section from my bike, unplug one harness, plug the unit in and do the programming.
Go here http://www.speedohealer.com/eng/adjust.htm and use thier calculator and you can figure out by what percentage your speedo is off.
For my 2003 Honda RC51, installation was simple.
Remove seat
Remove tail section
Locate harness on right side of motorcycle, right next to the battery*
disconnect harness
plug in speedo healer direct fit harness
program speedo healer
reassemble bike
RIDE!
*NOTE: DIRECT FIT HARNESS MAY PLUG IN, IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS! BE SURE you have the harness for the speed sensor, or damage to your bike or Speedo Healer may occur.
Here are sample pictures of the installation on a Honda RC51 http://www.speedohealer.com/your_pics/sp1/pics.htm

Re: Review: Speedo Healer
I like knowing how fast I'm going sometimes, most of the time I don't care a whole lot, its whatever feels right, but for $85 to save the extra miles, I'll take it.
Mine was off by like 14% so whatever that comes out to.
