Default Question on Honda CBR ride comfort???

Yeah I know the title sounds kind of funny but I have a question that is for my brother. He wants to get a 06 Honda CBR 600rr, so my question is how comfortable are they for taller people because he is 6'3(I have read on some sites taller people complaining about the ride comfrot). I am not that much help to him because the only bike I have riden is the Suzuki GSX-R. He has sat on one at the dealer and says it feels fine to him but I am wondering as far as riding goes how it feels. I know that this is a stupid question but any advice is appreicated. Thanks.

im 5'10" and i dont like the RRs because to me the front is two low. it seems like your reaching past the gastank to grab the bars. this is just my opinion tho he shoul dfind someone local that wil let him test it or ask the dealer to try it out first

Thumbs up Re: Question on Honda CBR ride comfort???

I'm 6' 1" and about 235 lbs. and my '03 600 RR totes me just fine. I get a little cramped up if i ride 100 miles..but i mean just riding...its fine. and plenty of power for the big guys.

dont waste your time. GET A HONDA!!!

If you want a comfortable Honda sportbike, get a CBR F4.. like a 2000 or 2001 with the banana seat. THAT is one of the only COMFORTABLE Honda's that I've sat on.. I also like the new Interceptor.. Pretty comfy and nice bike.

Otherwise, look elsewhere if you want comfort.

The f4/f4i is def more comfortable. Since I got the Corbin seat on mine, I dont have as many ass hurting complaints though.

If you're going to spend 10g's on a toy, you need to go sit on one yourself.

I've got a Corbin on my rr, I've gone 10+ hrs a day for 3 days straight riding. Corbin = you not thinking about your ass
no Corbin = you constantly shifting, crying about your ass.
