Could I somehow work this into a custom exhaust? Say get a couple bends made from the header and shove this in there?

Have you thought about taking it to Big Al's and get them to bend you a new exhaust? Might be a cheap, temp fix until you can find the header you need..

those will work, they don't baffle THAT much, but you can get em for alot less than that. i just ordered a set for a customer, i think they were around 15 bucks a pair.

Well I've been thinking about buying a in pipe baffle, like harleys, and buying prebent pipes. Then just getting it welded how I want and do some nasty shit.
