place to get inspection in richmond va?
hey all,
I just got my first bike and registered it.
Now i need to get it inspected but i don't know what shops do inspection for bikes.
Any auto inspection shops do it for bikes too? or are there certain shops i need to go?

Re: place to get inspection in richmond va?
I actually bought a bike with flush mounts and fender eliminator and one shop said they can't inspect a bike with those.
Anyone know a place that would inspect a bike like this?
Please pm me if you know any place in richmond or near richmond.
Thanks,

Any gas station that does cars will do a bike. I'm usually in and out in like 5 mins. They spend more time writing the ticket than they do checking the bike.

Also, yah that flushmounts and fender eliminator thing is because technically the signal lights are supposed to be a certain distance from each other, meaning when you flush mount it they are too close and deemed "not visible enough" or some bs. Only pricks aren't gonna pass you for that...
Like Quentin said, just go to a place that does car inspections..you sit on the bike..they check your registration. Ask you to show your signals work, put on the brake, flash your lights and your done.
Goodluck on your first bike, don't wreck or drop it.

I did not see anything in there about flushmounts. However the rear turn signals can not be any closer than 9 inches apart.
