pics of my newest bike
my good friend was telling me about this bike he had. he wanted to get rid of it to go on tour (plays music on the road a lot). Its a sport bike that had been in a wreck.
i go to take a look at it. he wants $900 for it. I give $750 and then we work out a deal where i change all the fluids in his vmax to compensate for the cheaper price.
I get it to the shop and straighten out the rearsets (bent in the wreck) and straighten the clip ons as they weren't at the same angle, also from the wreck. put in a new battery and remove the fuel pump. (wasn't making any fuel pressure.)
got it started. smoked like a chimney for a few minutes but then cleared up and runs like a raped ape! titled and added insurance ($175/ year) this week.
I don't plan on replacing the fairings. i may put a twin headlight setup on it from the new HD softail. or maybe a set from a speed triple.

Shit! I'd pick one up too for 750. I have a guy who wants to sell me his 03 GSX-R 1000 for $1500. There are a lot of GREAT deals out there right now. Way to take advantage of the economy!

seriously, look into modding a v-rod headlight for that bike. I have a friend that used on on his YZF fighter and it'd look SICK.
