for the people that say plastic welding sucks
I dont know how many times I have had other people tell me... "Plastic welds dont hold" or "Plastic welding doesn't work".
Frankly I am tired of hearing people talk about things they know absolutely nothing about. So... I said that the next time I did somebody's bike... I would take pictures and I also did a video.
Excuse the messiness of the house. The girlfriend hasn't been home in a couple days and I am a slob when I am working on bikes. LOL.

Who said plastic welds suck? How hard is that shit to do? Got a few fairing I caould muck around on to get the idea.

It is a very long process and a pain in the ass to do. It took me about 3 hours to weld that tail like it was. Of coarse.. I had to fabricate tabs and everything.

I didn't know people said plastic welding sucks. I do it quite often and I've never had a problem with it. You'll get faster with time though.

Oh... I am pretty fast in comparison... I am just a perfectionist. It has to be absolutely perfect. Or I won't want to finish it.

wasn't my tail... was doing a repair for a guy.
edit - but I did clock a wheelie the other day... doing a stand up in a parking lot... freshly painted bike and I destroyed the tail and taillight... LOL... It is back together... but sucks again. I plan on painting it again soon. All is well.
