parts questions
Hey guys, I'm new to the motorcycle world coming from being a car mechanic and stuff. Just wondering, where do you guys get your parts from? online and from the local dealers? Are motorcycles not as big that none of the dealers offer delivery to the shops. If so does anyone know of motorcycle parts stores that do deliver?
Car parts are so easy to get, everyone delivers, but seems like its harder and longer to get motorcycle parts. Thanks

In the mc world, most of the parts come from several distributors, such as parts-unlimited and tucker rocky, to name a few. You can get parts from dealerships or directly from some manufacture's too, but we know all too well what dealer prices are like. If your looking to get parts delivered from these distributor's, you have to be a dealer I believe. I don't know if local retailers will deliver to other shops.
I think a majority of the folks get their parts online, as the competition is fierce, but the local shops can get them as well. I prefer to get them locally, because if there are issues, the shops usually do what they can to help you out.
