OPINIONS!!
O-K so the search for a gsxr 1000 is proving hella difficult. NO ONE HAS ONE. and if they do, they want upwards of 8k and thats rediculous. im starting to look at TL1000R's can anyone give me an opinion on these bikes? will i miss the high pitched scream of the inline four if i go v-twin? I found one in damn good condition for about 6100 and its an '02. lemme know what yall think. or should I hold out to find that magical gsxr?

z1000 maybe?

TLR is a badass bike and while it'll be down on power compared to the gsxr1k,the sound of a large twin like that is amazing.....plus there is something to be said for torque If I moved up into the liter class it would be a z1k or a twin of some kind. The tlr is cool but if you can deal with a half fairing the tl1000s can be had for even cheaper than $6k. A lot of time the insurance companies are a hell of a lot easier on 1000 cc twins when compared to I4's

Re: OPINIONS!!
tl motors friggin rock!!! the rest of the bike however....
the rear suspension goes to crap after 30 minutes (stupid rotary damper)
if you want something like that, i can hook u up with an '03 sv1000 (the naked one) for 6k, with a penske shock (bad ass!!!) and race tech forks (that i built) that is SPOTLESS. same motor as the tl, alot less weight, trick suspension, yadayadayada. corbin seat too.
i'd be all over it if i had the cash.
