Default oil for bike?

92 FZR I'm assuming we can't just use car oil so whats a good oil to use for an older bike? Thanks for the help.

i have been using Mobil 1 15w50 from day one. 21K miles later - still no problem. Been buying it at advanced auto.

+ 1. I use Shell Rotella T full syn but mine's an 04 and it's been using full syn since day 1.

ya I heard your not suppose to switch from regular to synthetic, but I dunno how true that is.

I bought Penzoil motorcycle oil 20w40 the other day. As long as it is rated for motorcycles. DO not use car oil!
