How long have you had your motorcycle license?

How long have you been insuring motorcycles?

Where do you live?

Will the bike be garage kept or kept outside?

Have you been through a motorcycle safety course of some kind?

Is this bike for recreational purposes?

How many miles a year will you be putting on this vehicle?

As I've said a million and one times on this board and others; it makes no difference what I or anyone else pays for insurance, you could be paying something completly different than I am.

I was qouted 800 for the year for full coverage on my 05 rr...............guess what company that was through?

Progressive.

The same company who held this study.


Maybe on *average* Progressive is cheaper on bikes in this area (it sure is for myself and the wifey) and they are dominating the scene here for bike insurance. Maybe then that might help with why their claim rates are so high here.

Just because Progressive is making one claim doesn't mean I can't look up multiple studies from multiple companies and come up with 10 different states that have higher rates than we do.

This is ONE study.


Don't blow it out of proportion.

the one i read said you guys were #3 based on combined theft and crashes.... so you could still be 2 in one and 10 in another, but combined come out 3rd highest
