picked this up the other day, though it didn't look like this when i got it.
mods so far:
ditched the tube bars for cbr600 clip-ons
removed guages
re-wired front to back
cut the subframe all to hell
fitted ducati monster seat/tail
removed everything else that's not needed (signals, inner fender, hugger, etc)

still to do:
PAINT!! i hate that yellow. it's going black.
swap fork lowers with cbr600f3 lowers so i can run a dual disk cbr front rim/brakes
install sv650 swingarm with a gsxr600 shock
cbr600f3 rear wheel (1" wider than what's on it now, and it'll match the front)
make mounts for small twin headlights (very small)
get a small tail light and make mounts for it
make hi-mount exhaust midpipe and get a new muffler
stage 3 jetting/pod filters
120/160 tires
revalve/respring forks

future list:
dual intake cams (should be very soon)
442cc hi compression piston kit
mild port work
build slightly bigger diameter headers (unless i can find some for it somewhere)
re=worked 34mm gsxr750 carbs

most of ya'll here have probably never seen one of these, but it's a 91 bandit 400. plan on using it for some track days and tearing up back roads (and embarassing a few bigger bikes )

we'll see, but that's definatly a possibility. like i said, i even thought about stunting the 400, but i'd have to build a cage from scratch, and well, i just don't feel like it. i did get my 905 cage for the 954 welded up though, so it's ready to back on.
