New Tires..w00t
Just wanted to gloat about my recently purchased new tires for the 500. Picked up a set of Michelin Pilot Powers 110/70ZR-17 for the front and 150/60ZR-17 for the rear. All for just under $250 shipped thanks to Motorcycle Superstore. When they come in, I plan on taking the wheels to Cyclegear to get them put on the rim and then it's time to let the wife start riding.
Anyways, for those riders looking for new tires, check out the aforementioned site. They have free shipping through the end of April and only charge a $10 tire fee which is one of the cheapest places online I've found.

Did you check Cycle Gear's prices also? Usually they have some decent prices, and sometimes they have awesome prices!
Bought front and rear Dunlops for my 636 for $160...both!!

Re: New Tires..w00t
I checked the prices at Cyclegear for the tires a couple of weeks ago and they were a bit higher than online retailers. If the prices had been closer, I would have given Cyclegear my business.
The stock size for the EX500 is 110/70/17 for the front and 130/70(I think)/17 for the rear. I decided to go with a bigger rear tire for spirited riding as well as a hopeful trip to a riding school before the end of the season.
When the tires come in, I'll definitely hit up richie or kat and let them know you pointed me their way.

Pilot Powers are by far my favorite tire. Those bitches get sticky as hell! The life isn't that great, you can seriously push some turns with them.
I'm looking for the Avon Venoms probably for my next tire. I hear nothing but great things about them as well.
