Default New Rider!

Well Ive been a member on Vadriven for a little while and now i finally get to make a couple posts in the cycle forum. My dad and I are getting into riding and i just picked up a 2007 Kawasaki ninja 250r, which in my opinion is still too much power for a beginner. Its so damn light and goes into every corner i put it into. It has currently 6.4 miles on it ; ) and I still haven't taken it past 4 Revs. Its also currently unregistered and has been ridden only up and down my street in the woodland pond neighborhood. Since Im going to register it tomorrow and pick up the tags for it I was wondering if anyone had any other advice for a young rider. I only have my permit so far, LOVE RIDING, and Im only out there for the fun of it...not showing off and plainly being retarded.

MSF is the right way to go fo sho! pass the class and pay DMV 2 bucks and they print the class M to your license..easy as that, good class to i have been riding for a while and took the course and still learned alot from it..be safe out there man and look out not only for yourself riding but EVERY CAGER around you!

Once you pass the MSF course, they give you two cards. One of them is the MSF card stating that you completed the course (for your own records) and the other one you just take to the DMV and you get the M designation on your license.

so the M means that you have your motorcycles license correct? so you do not have to take the test?
