Default need advice

alright well here's the story.

I want a bike. haha.

My step dad just got a harley, rode on the back of it, had a blast. Then got on a friends yamaha 1200 (mind u, i have no idea about bikes) and had as much fun.
Then...got on a friends suzuki gsxr 600 and now...i want one.

I don't know ANYTHING about bikes, as far as sizes, what a good brand to look at, how much I should spend on one, mileage on a bike...nothing.

I just know I want a reasonable, nice little fun bike that I can go out on.

Someone told me that the best time to pick up a bike is between now & christmas because everyone's trying 2 get rid of em.

So..if you guys could help me out, that'd be great.

And if You know anyone who's selling a bike that fits everything I've said...let me know thanksss

I have a friend down here with a very nice Harley sportster for sale, not too sure on the ci. but its not too small. 883ci. maybe? It was his wifes bike, but she is moving up to his bike (very badass bike) and hes building a new one. It is mostly chromed, with a shaved fender and yellow with red flames, lowered for her, straight bars, and he may be putting a better front end on it. Damn good looking bike and if I was in the position to buy it I would. I think he wants $4500 for it. Ill get more info if this is the style of bike your looking for.

Have you operated a bike by yourself before? Can you drive a manual? Just a tip, dirt doesnt usually hurt as bad

You don't need any modern 600cc sport bike to start out on Corina.
