Default My friends GSXR600 fighter

So the modern bike lovers seem to really dig fighters. I have to admit, they are pretty cool.
I had a friend bring his 06 gsxr600 down to my place yesterday so i could make him some brake hoses to match his bike. anyhow took a couple pictures and thought i'd share.

The exhaust was pretty slick looking. i guess it 86's the cat converter but sounds freaking incredible!

I know I will get flamed on this particular forum for saying this, but..

Im not feeling it.. Looks like someone trashed their street fairings and cheaped out putting it back together. Just my opinion though.

everyone has their opinion. no worries there. He hasn't had it very long and bought salvaged. replacing fairings gets a little expensive plus he wanted a fighter style anyway so win win for him. I'm sure he'll have it looking way different soon enough. He hasn't had it long and judging from his past car collection, it will be spot on when he's done.

Yea, I meant no disrespect at all, and hope I didn't come off that way. I know a lot of guys here really like that style, and for some bikes it really works. Just my personal opinion, it doesn't work so well for that body style. To each his own.

i like the look, just don't know shit about bikes. just curious.

i think the bike looks awesome! Also, i think that body style gixxer is a good lookin "fighter"... Im sure the owner of this bike when he owns it a little longer (assuming that he does good shit) he'll replace the reservoir and tuck some of the wires ect.. I think it could also use some black paint on the radiator. . . Looking good so far! i love the headlight, and good job on the lines!
