Just wondering what you guys thought of the 2008 kawasaki 250r for a starter bike.....

Do you guys think i will be disappointed or do you think this is a great bike to start out on?

Im looking at this color if i do get one....

i didnt seen anything about the 2008 in the post titles sorry...and i was just trying to get quick opinions b/c i think the older models are ugly

These are msrp at 3500 dollars. and depending on where you buy you can get them Out the Door for about 3900-4200. This is that i read online.

This was quoted from motorcycle.com:
"The 2008 version claims 50 mpg from its 4.8-gallon tank. After 100 miles of city, freeway and canyon riding, I still had well over half a tank on the dial."

I also read that some riders are claiming that they are get about 60mpg.

I forget where but one of the sites has a chart with the mpg recorded. Ill try to find that later.

I want one so bad.

The new 08 redesign looks a ton better than the previous models. I learned to ride on an '06 250R. It's a great starter bike.
