Lightbulb motorcycle winterizing?

Well like everybody else, I haven't been riding since it got so cold outside and this is my first winter with a bike. Ive been starting it up once every 6-7 days but I was wondering what you guys have done with your bikes over the past winters. I don't want spring to come around with me having a dead bike that wont start and runs like dook when it does. Thanks guys.

Do not start that bike up and let it sit...

This is what you need to do.. Fill the tank completely up.. Do not start it..

ONE the tank with fill up with condensation if you do that after you let the bike run and then let it is.. this is why you fill it all the way up.. Put plywood or carpet under the tires if its in a garage or outside where no heat can get to it.. and cover it up. do not ride it that much in the cold weather as to the seals will shrink..

IMHO, that is a great idea. A battery tender would be good too.

Find a buddy that also has a bike and split a cilmate controlled storage unit. Battery on a tender and I hope you changed your oil..
