Default Motorcycle Insurance

I am looking into purchasing my 1st bike and wondering if you guys know of the cheapest motorcycle insurance company? I checked with geico and the prices seemed a bit high. What would you guys recommend?

Thanks,
Jeff

I just got a quote from Progressive for 2150, I believe it was about 4500 for the same thing from Geico.

That price is with Collision, without the price was 1,150. This is including 100k person 300k accident and 50k property for both bodily injury/ property and unisured motorist/property.

I pay about $20/month for full coverage with State Farm.

Also, you may consider doing a quick search. There are tons of threads about this topic here...

state farm for sure, i just recently switched to them, have full coverage WITH 250 DED., on my bike, full coverage on my 06 sonata, and liability on my 94 passport, plus renters insurance for 200 p/month. Only thing is you have to have other policies (ie your car, or cars) with them as well in order for them to write you a motorcycle policy. That why i switched from unitrin, but i wound up adding the new bike fully covered, and renters with the cars and still payed less than unitrin. TO STATE FARM

damn dude what kind of bike do you have?? I think mine is so low because I dont need medical because I already have seperate medical insurance that covers it. I have liability but dont have any if my bike gets stolen or anything like that so. My bike is old and not worth a lot so its not really worth it.
