The most scarriest thing that ever happened to me just happened
Ya, i said to myself i thought he died in front of me, but i was glad at least i could tell him that i thought that and see a reaction from him back, instead of looking at him in a casket. Im still really shook up and really upset from it because i would ride like almost every single day with him and now hes out....but at least i can look foward to his recovery and hes already talking about getting another bike - lol.
Man i'm sorry to hear that i hope him a speedy recovery and to you a speedy recovery as well; i lost my metor in a car cash while racing him; it stick with you for a long time; but and my boy always said(i'm sure he wasn't the first or only one)" if it don't kill you it only makes you stronger inside; so live fast and ride safe; all the luck in the world man

Going this afternoon to visit a friend in the hospital who lost his leg earlier this week on his 06 gsxr 600... so be double careful guys!
Well...heres the first week update on his condition...
He is doing great. Hes working that machine where you have to suck in air to pull the gauge up as high as you can really well. Hes going in today on his 4th surgury (3rd on his leg) for cleaning and preperation for what he called his *Big One* this upcoming Wednesday...so im guessing that will be rods and pins? Anyway, hes got really good spirits about the whole thing.
He did ask me to give a run down of how his bike looked, so I told him. He wasn't too happy to hear, but said hes going to still definitely getting another bike. Hes got a long road to recovery ahead of him, but at least hes alive, not paralyzed, and will make a full recovery. The doc said he may not be able to have 100% mobility in his foot (like trying to pull your foot upwards) but hes going to try to give him as much as he can.
Thank you guys for keeping him in your prayers.

damn... where do you bikers get the confidence to just get right back up and ride again? seriously ballsy stuff! im sure ole boy's gonna be just fine
well apparently just like a high school rumor things got exaggerated somewhat as word got passed along... he was busted up badly with multiple facial fractures, broken ribs, punctured lung, and a terribly broken leg but it was in fact not amputated and after some more surgeries, skin grafts, and therapy he should be fine, and really wants to get riding again
hows your friend holding up?
