I'm sure the shocks/forks need to be rebuilt (unless they are supposed to be that squishy) and I'd love to squeeze a little more speed out of it. To hell with the 35mph law!! WooHoo my first medal! Thanks bud. Most moped suspension is pretty squishy, esp. those of that era. I'd recommend a new carb or possible pull that one apart and give it a good cleaning. Best part is, the latter is free. Look closely on the engine for a stamp/engine code. I'm thinking its a Sachs 505/1A- but take a look. Once I know what it ism I can tell you more sites. |

I found a stamp but it is in tiny letters and I didn't see anything that resembles the typical codes ( 504/505/etc. ). Help? The engine is a little oil-soaked underneath so I'll have to do some cleaning tomorrow. I did air up the tires and putt up the street a little today w00t!. :D
