making a kx125 street legal
is it even possible to make my 1990 kx125 (2 stroke) street legal even if i get the required parts like high and low beam lights brake lights turn signals dot tires. Is there anyone on here with a motocross bike turned street legal. I'm not asking how practical this would be because i know it isn't at all but if i could do it for aroudn $500 then i would.

Re: making a kx125 street legal
it can be done, but it's a pain in the ASS. Had a friend recently register a KTM SMR for the stree, and I used to own a suzuki 400 that was registered for the street. Alot of the DMV workers don't know all the laws, and sometimes they let things slide.
It'd be alot easier to get it registered in another state, like Ohio, and then transfer the title over to Va. When I lived in Ohio, there were ALOT of street registered dirtbikes running around.
