i dont think you should lower it, i'm 5'6" and have no problems.

but if you still want to lower the bike than there maybe a way to lower it without costing you a cent.
i'm not sure but you maybe able to reverse the links below the shock inorder to lower the bike 1.5 - 2 inches.

i know the older r6 you can reverse the 2 triangle links below the shock.

i forgot to mention that if you do lower the bike than you will need to modify the kick stand, either cut it an inch or two off or bend it to accomadate the new height of the bike.

you have no problems? Are you on your tippy toes? I'd rather NOT lower it.

I havnt even been able to sit on it yet so i dont know if I could or not

Edit: Nevermind i should have no problems as well....I just checked the specs on an 04 and it shows the seat height is 32 inches im sure the 03 is the same. My dirtbike is 34 inches and i have no problem as well.

Oh well.....sorry about the post....thanks guys. Research kicks my ass

when you sit on your dirt bike, the shock compresses some though. Its not going to do nearly as much on the R6 imo. You'll either be on your toes or only be able to put one foot on the ground. I like one foot on the ground the other on the brake anyways, so a setup like that works ok for me....seeing as I'm all of 5'9'' I'm in a similar boat nate.
