Thinking about getting a vrod what are your views? what should I look out for?

If you have to get a harley than get a vrod. If not, then get a kawasaki.

I got one last june and love it. More comfortable than a sport bike, will hang with older 600's. The only thing that sucks is the wind on your body at high speeds feels like its gonna push you off. Oh and the 154mph top speed, thats after the ECU is reprogrammed from the stock limiter.

not a big fan of harleys,but i have to say that dropped with clip ons makes a v-rod pure sex!!

i do like the looks of the buells though..

there is something i like about them, but then again...there is something I dont. They kind of give me the feel that you didnt want to be like your dad and have the true harley type bike, then again you didnt wanna be like your friends witht he honda's, but yet wanted to stay american made and buells just didnt suit you... so you buy a vrod. I dunno... it's 50/50 with me.

It costs to much for what u get. Its small if ur taller then 5,5 u look like a circus bear. And alot of people buy them cause they are Harley's and think they are way better. Might as well buy a good reliable bike like a Honda or Suzuki or anything other then a harley. Do ur reserach before buying it they lose there value just like any other bike so it. But it costs cost so much more when u sell it sure ur gonna get more cause u spent more.

I like Harley's, they are expensive, but thats just the way it is.


V-Rod is pretty nasty.. supercharge it. :D

Get a Suzuki M109r great bike ..

I like the black one, and they have a dealer issue turbo for it as well, in chrome or black.
