I dunno maybe i missed it but what about military? I need to take some kind of course to bring my bike on base when i get it or something like that, correct me if i'm wrong.

NO, if your license is being taken away you can not drive any type of vehicle that needs to be tagged on the state maintained roads. You might want to look into buying a scooter...... Sorry

hmm.. because i'm 19 I don't have to get the permit right? I can just take my bike up to the safety course, show that to the DMV and wala?

bump cause I need to know this too...I am suppose to be going up to DMV tomorrow...also, can you take the knowledge exam and skills test in the same day?

werd so... i just rode my first official "crotch rocket" today but im 16 so i dont think im supposed to....i have a drivers permit but wouldnt i need a valid liscence to get a motorcycle permit?

best thing to do for a motorcycle's license by far is taking that class and passing it, its so much easier than taking the riding test at DMV, its almost impossible to do a figure 8 with a sport bike, thats why so many people fail is because of that, make sure to have a permit for 30 days and then go to dmv and they'll stamp a M on ur license...other than that piece of cake

oo and by the way, its good to take the class b/c u learn what not to do and you see others mistakes so u learn from that

i went and took the road test friday and failed. i passed the 90 degree turn, but the staggard formation got me. how do you guys do it? fast or slow? i managed to pass the first two cones, but the 3 and 4th i had to put my foot down... once you put your foot down... you can't realy start over...
