Leathers????
Hello, I am new to this forum but having been riding on the street since 05 and looking to get to VIR in the spring. I am a small guy (5'7" on a good day) and was wondering the best way to go about getting leathers in SWVA(Roanoke). No places seem to have anything that could possibly fit. I guess the best option could be the internet but any input would be great. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

Re: Leathers????
I have a decent set of used Teknic leathers for sale in the cycle classifieds here for $125. I'm 5'6" and about 180# and they fit me. I take paypal and will ship at your expense if you're interested.
My in-laws live in Moneta too, and I'll be up there before spring. If you're interested but want to see them before you pay for shipping, etc. you can meet me in Moneta next time I'm up there.

Re: Leathers????
I can help you get ahold of a nice set of leathers for the best price imaginable.
If you just want something to save your skin, Teknic makes a pretty nice bang for the buck suit. You can find a one piece for $299 brand new on newenough.com
Sportbiketrackgear.com also has competitive prices, and so does motorcyclecloseouts.com
How much do you weigh? I may have missed it in your original post, but I don't remember seeing it. If you're sort of an oddball size, you may need to piece together a two piece suit if you're not height/weight proportional. No big deal. Most track organizations allow two pieces but prefer one pieces.
I may even have an extra two piece suit you could pick up cheap depending on how much you weigh.
BTW, it would be silly to drive all that way to check out leathers at a retail store.
