The gas melted the RTV and it was all gummed up inside of the carbs. LOL.. You will only do that once. LOL

just remember... when putting it back together.. only paper or OEM gaskets.... NO RTV!!!... I made that mistake my first time.. I worked on a bike when I was like 17/18 LOL

Not that I don't have enough XS crap in my garage... but one more couldn't hurt!
